Hey!!

I can't believe todays the last day in February! You know how when a new year comes around everyone makes resolutions/goals that they are going to try and accomplish that year. Well, I have two goals I'm going to try and accomplish this new month of March.

1) Do more blog posts!!!!

2) Stay on top of things for school and not fall behind. I tend to fall behind with readings since I'm taking a bunch of English classes that entails a bunch of reading!

We'll see how this goes when April comes!

Anyway these past few days have been rainy where I live and I hate this type of weather. Friday i had a horrible day it was really gloomy outside and I felt to tired to go to classes but I couldn't miss class because I missed classes the week before when I had a stomach virus (which was HORRIBLE =[ I hate throwing up.) So I went. On my way in the morning the stupid bus splashed water all over me and i was soaked!! I was really mad and that just boguht my whole day down its really icky being in wet clothes =/ luckily it dried.

I need to catch up on Pretty Little Liars I really love that show. Does anybody watch it? I've read all the books and I was so excited to watch the series which btw is totally different from the books. So if you have read the books the series will keep you guessing because they are taking the series in a whole different path then the books. Sara Shepard is a genius I read the first book for her new series The Lying Game and it was gooood!!

I really love the top I'm wearing cuz it's long sleeves and really loose and comfortable. It has a dropped waist and little button designs which I think are cute.  My outift turned out perfectly color coordintaed eventhough I just put it together because these are my most comfortable pieces. I like when things just work out together. I added a little bow on my hijab because my outfit felt so plain. I wore this today to class and to run errands it was really comfy and that's my number one priority!

~Outfit of The Day #1, Randomness~

Hello Out there can you hear me!!!

I know its been like forever since i've posted on here! Happy New Year! Yea I know i'm like 1 month late.

I'm starting to get back in the flow of having classes since college has started once again. Yesterday I went and officaly declared my second major!! Drum Roll Please.....Now I am a English/Psychology Major Woot woot! Hopefully I can finish up everything by my intended graduation date then here I come Grad school.

Anyway so this past week has been my first week of being a hijabi in school. I was thinking of posting outift of the day pics and talking about them but idk no one really reads my ramblings so I don't know. Maybe i'll do a couple and see what happens....

I wore Timberland boots with this outift bc there was way too much snow for me to wear any cute shoes =[ I had a coat and gloves and a random tote with my books that didn't really go with the outift!

~Birthday, HP, Hijabs, and Finals~

Happy Birthday to me!!!

Today’s my birthday but it sucks because I have an essay due tonight and I have to study for finals so no birthday fun for me. At least I got cake lol. I am excited I got some nice presents!!! I got this really cute makeup set called Glamour is Golden by Estee Lauder! Its really pretty here’s a link to the set-->  Estee Lauder Glamour is Golden!!!.

Anyway I’m working on an essay and it’s really a pain idk what to write so I’m taking a break.

I have decided to take my time and reread the Harry Potter series. The other times I read it I rushed through them trying to find out what’s going to happen. And when I went to see the movie I actually forgot stuff that happened and I was surprised so I decided I need to reread the books slowly so that’s why I’m doing. I’m up to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire right now.

        So in my past posts I talked about wearing a hijab and how I’m going to do it in like January but actually I started kind of wearing it now. I just wear it like a shayla but I am learning new styles and so I can wear it properly soon. Nowadays I find myself buying scarves when I go shopping I actually have a little collection. It’s not like a real hijabis hijab collection but I definitely am collecting now I have like 20 scarves so far. I need to get myself some plain ones though.

I have also hijabified my wardrobe! I find myself buying short dresses these days which you can wear with jeans underneath and totally be modest. All you need is a couple of long sleeve T-shirts to wear underneath short/sleeveless tops, and cardigans to wear over and your wardrobe can be totally changed to a hijab friendly wardrobe.   

                Anyway I should get back to my essay.

~December, Cyber Monday and Harry Potter~

First off I admit I lost the project 365 challenge and I know I haven’t written in so long I’m not even going to waste my time trying to explain why. Anyways, it’s December and that means my birthday, snow, finals, hot chocolate, holidays, jolly people, shopping…..and the list goes on and on! I really love this time of year. Other then finals everything else that represents December is awesome. I really love the fact that everybody is in a good mood around this time and then after new years it gets gloomy.

            I know Thanksgiving was a couple of weeks ago but I feel like it was yesterday! I had loads of fun that weekend I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1!! I love HP! I’m so sad that after the next part there will be no more Harry Potter to look forward too. I feel like Harry’s a huge part of my childhood. I’ve been reading the books since 4^th grade and now it’s going to end. Anyway back to the movie it was AWESOME!!! You couldn’t even blink because if you did you would have missed something, that’s how action-packed it was. If no one has seen it yet I totally recommend it. Go see it.

            Did anybody go black Friday shopping? I didn’t but I did go cyber Monday shopping. BTW cyber Monday is like the black Friday for the internet a lot of websites had huge deals, discounts and free shipping! Oh and Black Friday if you don’t know what that is, it is the hugest shopping day in the US almost all stores have some kind of sale and very cheap prices. So on cyber Monday Forever 21 was having this thing where if you buy one sale apparel you got one for free so of course I bought some stuff because who doesn’t like free. I got this tote from AE for $!5 which I thought was awesome and 2 books from Amazon. I still haven’t gotten the stuff from Forever 21 yet it’s been over a week now! That’s the one downside of shopping online waiting for what you ordered to come.

           

            So anyway I think I have ranted enough so I’m going to stop typing! Take Care

~I am ready to take on this Challenege called Project 365!!~

Last week I was talking with this girl and she told me about “Project 365” which after my own research on none other than Google I decided I would try to do too. Basically you take a picture a day for a year (365 days) and when you look back at it you could remember how you have changed. I started taking pictures on Saturday October 16 so that’s going to be my first day of project 365!!! So I’ll be taking and posting pictures up every day until October 16, 2011!!! (inshallah)
